Dream Booth Update

I am pleased to report a good time from the Schenley Plaza Sundae Market dream booth. Katie and I spent all five hours toasting in the sun releasing prophetic words to any and all who came by. I believe that this event made a spiritual statement into the atmosphere because of our presence. This was confirmed by one of our encounters with a person who was very heavy into astrology and witchcraft.

The event was not highly trafficked because it competed with Father's Day and the Pittsburgh Arts Festival. Many of the vendors were complaining about the lack of people. We offered free dream interpretation as well as a raffle for Jim Goll's Dream Language book. We gave about two interpretations an hour, all of which were right on.

We spoke with two people who had recently lost their children. They were both having terrible nightmares about their loss. We were able to speak blessing into their lives and enlighten them to God's healing power through their dreams.

There was one individual who stuck out the most. He was heavily involved in astrology and witchcraft. First of all, he said that he never heard anyone interpret dreams the way we did. He commented on our accuracy and then asked a very poignant question: "What do the religious people say to you?"

To be honest, this question took me really off guard. I wasn't sure what he was asking. After he elaborated, I realized he simply meant "Christians." We talked about how the Bible is full of dreams and how God is very supernatural. I told him that a spiritual encounters are not incompatible with what the Bible says. As a matter of fact, the Bible encourages spiritual encounters! He was very taken back by all of this. He then said to me that he felt religious people were just jealous because "they're the ones that should have this Power and ability to access to spiritual realm instead of psychics." Even the world realizes that Christians should have power encounters!

One last person we ministered to had a simple dream. It was honestly the easiest dream of the day. When I told him what it meant it looked like someone punched him in the face. He staggered and quickly sat down and asked "how did you know that?" It's really cool to move under the anointing and stun the world.

We are looking to do these booths all summer long. I'm really praying for God to give us an open door into the Regatta! Pray with us, please! I'm also posting teachings on the importance of dreams. I will keep you all posted on this new powerful ministry.

One Week Since Lakeland

It has been once week since we touched down back from Florida today. So much has passed in Pittsburgh. I believe that we are on the verge of a mighty move of God! Since we have come back we have seen:

An impromptu prayer service at our house for ministry leaders. 20 people attended. God showed up in a powerful way. There were a few healings as well.

Our "planned" kickoff service for worship outdoors summer long at Tree of Life. Kandi Bahr led worship in a powerful way. An angel showed up and there were many healings. The rain kept the passers-by away, but it was an overall powerful service.

I was invited to speak at another church in the area to share the Lakeland anointing on Sunday. It was also a powerful service accompanied by healings. God is confirming His Word with Signs and Wonders! One gal walked up with a cane and walked home without it! God is on the move!

I was driving on the way to work today and I was thinking about revival. I thought in my heart, "Is this what it looks like when the Kingdom comes down on Earth?" I began to ponder all the churches that have criticized the moves of God. What would happen if God showed up in power in their services? Would they simply say, "We don't believe in things like that?"

Geeting to the stadium

Its Sunday afternoon and we are back from the mall getting ready to get over to the stadium. We befriended a group of guys who are rooming in the hotel we are at a few rooms down. Our hotel has a stove so we bought some groceries to save on eating out. We overshopped and purchased a little more beef than we needed. We blessed these guys with the eextra food we had because we won't be using it before we leave tomorrow. They asked if we were angels. Isn't that funny?

Tonight, Paul Cain is supposed to be at the stadium. A few years ago he prophecid that there would be cming a move of God that would be so large that only stadiums could fill it. Todd has invited him down to tell us if we are fulfilling what he had seen in this vison.

We are also supposed to be getting prayer cloths today. Todd said last night that they had purchased 10000 prayer cloths to hand out tonight. This couldn't have been a better weekend to come down. Hope you will be watching.

Saturday Update / Sunday Morning Update

Folks, things are awesome. I realy cannot describe it. I really do not understand why there are people who speak out so strongly against this move of God. There had to be almost a dozen wheel-chairs emptied last night. There was such a strong anointing to break even cerebral palsy's hold on peoples life.

But, just as cool, there was an anointing to break addictions. There was a word of knowledge released to break off addictions and a line of at least 100 people who confessed the need to be freed.

Saturday was much stronger than Friday because most of the logistical issues were taken care of. When you over pack a stadium with 1000s of people, there are many issues that can quickly become problems. Thankfully, most of them were taken care of.

Near the end of the night, Todd asked that anyone in full-time ministry stand up. He then called all of us down to receive a special impartation for our city. In about 20 minutes, the team prayed for over 500 pastors in the field. The funniest thing is not about how fast th people go down, but how fast his interns have to run to keep up with the team. The interns are jumping over bodies and swarming around people. It's pretty histerical to watch, awesome to be a part of.

I shaked and baked for about 40 minutes and have been unable to stop since. After the service, we went around the outside of the stadium to help minister to the countless people remaining after the service. There was such breakthrough with these people. One guy in particular had asked us to pray for him because he was bound by ciggarettes. We prayed over him, Ryan went crazy against the spirit of addiction, and then we spoke great blessings over his life. He offered his home to us and said that if we ever needed anything when we were in his area to give him a call. Just like the widow and Elijah. We are truly living in Biblical times.

We saw Jim Goll leaving the stadium last night. I approached him to ask about how his wife is doing. Last night, Todd asked the whole world to pray for her on Friday night because she had a hemmorage in her brain. He said last night that he had not spoken to the doctor but they felt a sign about her. I don't know what that meant, but I assured him that all of us were praying for her. Pray for Jim and his wife - they need a mighty breakthrough.

God has spoken to me so much over these past few days; I can't wait to share it all. Stadium christianity is going to become the norm for us in the states. it os the only way that we can keep up with the population growth of our country. Paul Cain will be here tonight. I can't wait to hear whats going on with him. More to come later, hope you will be watching! We are off to the mall to "have church" and see who God will heal in the process.

11 years of never walking

Last night, the logistics of revival in a stadium are pretty crazy. Especially since this whole thing was planned with two days notice. It looks like they have doubled the amount of speakers to help. We are on the verge of something huge. This atmosphere is super charged for an outpouring. We just spent some time in Wal-Mart. We prayed for the cashier who had a sinus issue that she had been fighting for years. She cried because we took a few seconds to pray for her. Then in the parking lot we met up with some people who looked like they were from the revival. It turns out that they came from Tulsa Open Bible! We have seen so many people from the revival already. Truly, revival has come.

Today we hosted a Pastor's Prayer Gathering at my store. While we were praying I was dwelling on the scripture that reads "Ask the LORD for rain in the time of the latter rain." (Zech 10:1) Revival is being poured out in pockets across the USA. What if we were to ask for revival for Pittsburgh in this season of revival? God, send revival!

Shake Recession from Your Life
Don't let others confess a recession mindset over you! Every time you are in an environment that Satan is using to instill a recession mindset, literally shake your garments and pray that the recession won't cling to you. It's amazing to see what a little prophetic action will do!

Confess Abundance
Are you saying things like, "This economy is killing me," "I will never be able to afford gas at $4 a gallon," "We are in a recession," etc.? Stop giving Satan lip duty! Speak blessings over your finances and over your workplace.

Save Exponentially
If you don't have a savings plan, today is the day to create one. Save while everyone else is spending. If your savings are not growing, you are living a recession lifestyle. Start with $1 and move to 1% every pay day - grow from there.

Give Extravagantly
Recession lifestyle will tempt you to hoard your money just for yourself - so do the opposite! Bless someone else instead - follow the principles of sowing and reaping. Give and it will be given back to you!

Live with Integrity
Live as if Heaven's economy was invested in your integrity, even the secret hidden areas. God will always honor a person who lives with integrity.

Work Ethically
Who is your boss? Is it your employer or is it Jesus? Work as if Jesus was watching your time clock, your lunch breaks, and your overall performance. Make decisions that will bring Him glory and don't cut corners!

Spend Wisely
This is not the time to fall back on bills owed. Don't fall prey to the temptation to "rob Peter to pay Paul." Find a way to pay both so that no one turns your bill over to collection. Don't get over your head with new contracts, bills, etc.

Fast Regularly
Isaiah tells us that fasts were declared to break the oppression of a spirit of poverty. Give something up and seek God's face. The rewards are out of this world!

Exist in the Glory
There is a new strategy of warfare coming to the front lines. By your very existence in God's presence, demons of lack and poverty have to go! Find yourself in the glory and you won't have to come against spiritual forces; they will simply have to flee because you are full of God's blessings. Your existence scares them away!

What I Don't Want to Write About

I feel called of God to write more, but I'm still not sure what I need to write about. I keep getting a writers block of sorts. I write "of sorts" because I never have really written before. I have some great ideas but I just cannot seem to sit down and actually follow through with them on paper.

I thought it would be good to start compiling a list of things that I do not want to write about, so here goes it:

As a Christian, I do not want to necessarily directly tie everything back to God - especially in that sappy way that many people talk about. (ie. today I saw someone crossing the sidewalk and it made me think about the cross Jesus died on.) It is like everyone feels the need to allegorize their life in order to find some spiritual meaning to their existence.
I do not want to write about things that I do not like, even though those are the things that I am most passionate about. Too many public speakers use complaints to springboard their messages; Can we have a positive voice in the world?
As a pastor, I do not necessarily want to talk about the state of the Global Church - lets face it - it sucks. I believe that the global church looks nothing like what Jesus meant when He said that the Gates of Hell would not prevail against her.
Even though I follow politics, I am going to try to stay away from being to political. I may talk about social and morale issues that have been confused with politics, but I do not plan on talking about who I plan on voting for. And, for all who may ask, I am a partyless voter.

Waging War on the Political Spirit

I am really beginning to believe that God's Kingdom not only will fulfill all spiritual needs of a community but will also touch every social part of a community. I see that the Bible defines true religion as feeding the poor and taking care of the widows and orphans, which are social areas of concern. Unfortunately, most Christians that I know are more concerned with spiritual methods such as prayer, reading the Bible, going to church, etc.; they leave the social issues to politicians. But when politicians give God credit for their wisdom, they are criticized for having a political spirit and using the church for political aide. There is simply a realm of politics in every part of life that we have to deal with. Social issues shouldn't be handed over to the federal government to take care of, these tasks need to be taken up as a Kingdom Mandate to break through and change our communities in the name of Jesus.

Dream: School Parking Permits

Last night's dream stood out a lot; it had many symbols that could be interpreted various ways.

Everything began at my parents’ house in McKeesport. I was getting ready to go to school at McKeesport Area High School. My plans were to drive down to the school and park on campus, but I did not yet receive a parking permit that would enable me to leave my car unattended on school property. I would have to go early and talk to the principal for permission to park on campus.

I drove my champagne Buick and parked in the student parking lot. I went to the trunk to get my supplies, which happened to be two tripods with accessories attached to them. On the top of one tripod was a video camera; on top of the second was a portable handset phone. I went in to the school looking for the principal, Mr. Catalina who is not the principal now; He wasn't in the first room I looked in but he was in the second office.

When I talked to his secretary in the first room, she told me that there was no one to preach at the morning session in the auditorium. I was trying to hint to her that I would be interested in speaking this morning. Needless to say, she did not bite on my leadings and directed me to the second office where the principal was. When I found him, he was preparing to preach in the auditorium. His sermon was on Inspector Gadget! He asked me what I thought to which I responded that I could sense God in his message.

I asked him for a parking permit, which he obliged, and tried to run out to my car to place in on the windshield. The time on the pass was 8:03. I was still wielding these bulky tripods with camera and phone attachments through the crowded hallway. It was taking forever to get back to my car and I knew I was going to be late for class if I did not hurry. I tried to kick it up a notch but I kept being stopped by fellow classmates. I do not recognize any of them in hindsight, but in the dream I knew them all. Many of them asked me if I would meet with them to help them with their problems, or to pray for revival to break out in the school, or even to prayer walk in the community with them!

After being stopped many times, I noticed that both my camera and my phone had fallen off the top of the tripod. I quickly turned around in order to retrieve them from the floor. The video camera was right behind me, but I did not see the phone. I took about 20 or so steps back to see that some bullies had got the phone and we tossing it around to each other to keep it out of my reach. One of them threw it in the garbage can that was full of nasty food and some gross liquid. I dug through the garbage to get the phone; it was covered in gross water and I knew that it was broken. I then hurried along to reach my car and put everything away.

The next thing I knew I was explaining my days events to my wife. When I got to the part about the phone I was very distraught because the phone was broken. He response to me was a simple faith filled "don't worry; you're on Eagle's wings." At this point I awoke and felt the presence of God in my bedroom.

I used to blog a lot; I did it before it was cool. Actually, I did it before it was called blogging. I have always been on the edge of technology. I learned all of this from my late Grandfather who challenged me to continue to look for the new things of tomorrow and capitalize on them today. I remember when I first learned that lesson, too;

When I was younger I played with Lego building blocks. I had lots of legos and I would build various objects, castles, spaceships, etc. My imagination would run as I sat in this little world that was falling apart as I built objects to make it better. I liked constructing so much that for much of my childhood I felt that I was going to grow up and design large buildings that changed the world.

My world was a world full of brick people; a world full of fantasy and futuristic creations. I am happy that robotic engineering has come as far as it has, but we are still a far cry from where my imagination was at the time. I would make these great robotic creations that defied every form of logic, science and contemporary engineer knew to make. I would create a world full of catapults, castles, and dragons to slay. I would pridefully show my creations to my family who would ooo and aww over my naivety/creativity combo. My pap once told me to invent creations that would change the world.

As I grew up I put my legos aside and went into more serious creative ways to sculpt the future of mankind. I taught myself web design, computer programming, computer construction, and various other geeky tasks that are steaming forward technologically.

I also planted a Church; The Church is God's invention to change the world and bring His Kingdom to Earth.

Most people think the Church is an old idea; not me! I believe that Church was supposed to be something relevantly fresh that invaded toward changing everything wrong in the world. If Church did was it was supposed to, we would have no need for governmental programs: the poor would be rich, the naked would be clothes, the oppressed would be freed, the hurting would be consoled, the sick would be healed, even the dead would be raised;

Jesus said that His Church would invade even the gates of Hell. Perhaps today's church needs a little innovation and some creativity to change its thought process. Maybe if we gave those with the naivety/creativity combo a chance to lead, they'd change the world too.
